C-3 representatives met with David Giffen, Director of Environmental and Land Use Management for the San Diego Unified Port District, to present proposals for increased public participation in park and open space planning within the Port’s jurisdiction, as well as improved coordination between the Port and other public agencies carrying out open space planning in the vicinity of San Diego Bay.  This was a follow-up to Giffen’s participation in C-3’s recent breakfast dialogue on “Green Space and Connections: Will Coordinated Strategies Link San Diego’s Bays?”.
