C3 Mayoral Forum

The mayor (public servant) who tends only to current necessities forfeits the city of tomorrow, while the visionary stumbles over the potholes of the present.  City chiefs must know how to balance two vital items,...necessity and possibility."

Jamie Lerner, former Mayor of Curitiba, Brazil.

It is timely and fortunate that C-3 is able to follow up last month's Breakfast Dialogue (in which Bill Fulton, the City of San Diego's new Planning Director, provided his thoughts regarding neighborhood revitalization and economic development) with a mayoral forum that will focus on the important planning issues that can make San Diego a great world-class city. Each of the mayoral candidates will have received in advance a copy of C-3's recently published Sustainable Paradise which delineates this organization's "vision for the future of the San Diego/Tijuana Metropolitan region."

This extended two-hour forum brings together the leading candidates for mayor in a Q&A format to be moderated by

Gene Cubbison, political reporter for KNBC News 7.

This Breakfast Dialogue will be well attended.

Please register early.
