C-3 San Diego is much more than an advocacy organization for proactive planning, good design, and citizen engagement – it’s a community. In founding C-3 San Diego almost 60 years ago, architect Lloyd Ruocco’s vision was to bring together our region's most creative minds from the arts, sciences, academia, and government to share ideas, learn new perspectives, and build fellowship around the idea of creating livable communities.

Since then, C-3 San Diego has been led by some of our region's most engaged and committed citizens.
